Privacy policy
Last updated: 10 September 2026
This page sets out how hinshu.jp ("this site") handles visitor information.
1. Who runs this site
IDEA Technology (ideatech.biz) Contact: info@hinshu.jp
2. What we do not collect
This site has no fields for entering a name, address, telephone number or anything similar. We never receive personal information directly from visitors.
3. Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) for analytics. GA4 uses cookies to collect, in anonymous form, which pages were viewed, how long visitors stayed, where they came from and their approximate region. No personally identifying information is included. The data is handled under Google's privacy policy. Disabling cookies prevents this collection. IP anonymisation (anonymize_ip) is enabled on this site.
4. Advertising and affiliate links
As of 10 September 2026, this site carries no advertising and no affiliate links.
If either is introduced, it will be stated on this page first. Even then, the presence of revenue will never change which varieties we cover or how we describe them. The value of this site rests on its neutrality; we will not take revenue that costs us that.
5. External links
This site links out to NARO, Japan's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and prefectural agricultural experiment stations. Please refer to each site's own privacy policy for how they handle information.
6. Disclaimer
We take the accuracy of this site seriously, and every parent-child relationship carries a citation to a primary source. Errors are still possible. If you find one, please write to info@hinshu.jp. We will correct it and record that we did.
We cannot accept responsibility for decisions or actions taken on the basis of this site. For consequential decisions such as buying seed or seedlings, please check the primary sources and the supplier's own information.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
